I'm sure it's pretty normal, just all part of having a big bubby in your tummy but I thought I'd just check with others who have been pregnant or are pregnant.
The pain is sort of hot and it feels a bit like a tight band about 5cm lower than my bra. What do you reckon? Thanks!Pain under my boobs at 31 weeks pregnant?
It depends on the location, but any pain in the upper right quadrant should be reported to your midwife or OB immediately. It's usually nothing to worry about, but if it is then it can have devastating consequences if not treated.
Just call your midwife/L%26amp;D/OB and let them know, they will tell you whether or not you need to go in for an assessment.

"Stomach and/or Right Shoulder Pain
This type of stomach pain, called epigastric pain by the medical profession, is usually under the right-side ribs. It can be confused with heartburn, gallbladder problems, flu, indigestion or pain from the baby kicking. Shoulder pain is often called referral pain because it radiates from the liver under the right ribs. Lower back pain is different from muscle strain common to pregnancy. It is usually more acute and specific. All may be a sign of HELLP Syndrome or a related problem in the liver. Shoulder pain can feel like someone is deeply pinching you along the bra strap, or it can be painful to lie on your right side. "Pain under my boobs at 31 weeks pregnant?
I asked a very similar question yesterday about having pain in my upper tummy just under my ribs, a few women said it was a normal complaint of pregnancy but one woman did say to get it checked out as its a sign of pre- ecslampsia so i rang my doc and shes right, im due in the hospital on monday so im waiting til then..
Its a pain in the bum trying to figure out which pains and twinges are normal and which ones could mean somethings wrong! Lol!
Good luck wit the rest of your pregnancy xxPain under my boobs at 31 weeks pregnant?
Omg I'm 39 wks and 2 days and I have 2fall asleep with a cold rag under my boobs because of this.. Which feels sooo good..
My dr said it was totally normal when I asked him about it and said its probably the lil one pushin up in my ribs.. I get this lovely pain like 10 hrs a day. It sucks. But its almost over for me.. I think lol
Btw congrats =)
Yep totally normal!! And it hurts like hell! I wake up every night in agony! I heard it's just the babby kicking at your ribs. If you put something warm on your back it ususally encourages the little rascal to move own and bit and away from your ribs! Congrats and good luck!
