How great were they?

My uncle who is 64 reckons they were one of the top 10 rock bands of all time.

i think they're a great band...not too sure about top ten. they definitely didn't get the recognition they deserved but they were a part of the british rock invasion and were a huge influence for future bands.Rock band the faces.?
The Faces were a very unique band.

They played an intentionally sloppy kind of rock that always sounded like they were having a lot of fun.

Sometimes they sound a little too "British" for my tastes, but that's just me

Of course, they had Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart, both great rockers

Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones and Ian McLagan were also very talented musicians.

They were incredibly underrated. The Small Faces/Faces produced some great Rock Music and even greater musicians: Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, Ian McLagan, Ron Wood, Rod Stewart. Man, they were great! People nowadays do not realize that they were considered a premier band in their time. But top ten? Naw. That's stretching it a bit. Maybe Top 40 bands or so, but not top ten. and if we add solo acts to the mix, they drop way down.
