What would you guys say the musical term "really tight harmonies" means?

Only, a mate of mine, back in London, many years ago, reckoned that that's what the band I was in years back was best known for, but what do you reckon she meant by "really tight" harmonies? I understand it to mean precise timing of the vocalization, with the underlying assumption that the pitches are correct. In other words, there's no detectable hearing of one voice without the other(s), even for a slight fraction of a second.

well it means you need to make sure your harmonies are really together and in sync so the sound comes out just right how there supposed to sound
