Why dont these old bands like Spandau Ballet just let it be?

I dont know whay old timers like Sapandau Ballet - who were big in the 70s/80s dont just leave the past as the past.

Music is about the time as well as the sound. It is not possible to bring back the 1980s so why do these old guys keep going? What are they trying to do? I reckon they can spoil their memory by trying to make a comeback.

WHY???Why dont these old bands like Spandau Ballet just let it be?
Spandau Ballet come back because Duran Duran and many others came back before them. And I reckon this interest for the 80's has to do with the current world crisis; people turn back to what looks like "a good old time" (actually, it wasn't really one, but you know what nostalgy is up to).

And if they don't succeed, there will be at least one positive thing: Tony Hadley is on diet, and he really needed to be.
If people want to go and see them, why not? Do you honestly think people who were into music in the 80s want to listen to My Chemical Imbalance? I'm not a fan of Spandau Ballet, but I can't see a reason why they shouldn't do what they do and make some money out of it.Why dont these old bands like Spandau Ballet just let it be?
YOUR PERCEPTION OF WHAT IS MUSIC IS PROBABLY VERY SHAKY SO THINK ON.
They were only a third-rate pop group in the first place. Why dont these old bands like Spandau Ballet just let it be?
it's really very simple - money.

A lot of people still like them and will pay to go and see them play.
because they are great and people other than you like their music
I agree.
