Is wanting to be in a rock band an ambitious dream?

so when im a bit older i wud really want to be in a successful rock band now i know the life that goes with it but i just wud love to be up on stage entertaining a crowd. Im ok at singing, i can rap pretty well (kinda like the stuff mike shinoda does) and i reckon i cud easily start playing the drums and pick it up easy.

Ask yourself if you would enjoy being in a band if you never make the "big time". If the answer is yes, then go for it. If the answer is no, then the question gets tougher. There are a million excellent bands out there that will never get noticed outside their local area. If you really need the thrill of performing in front of huge crowds, you will have to put full effort and focus into your career. The players in the band will have to play well, mesh, and have a common goal. You'll have to learn how to promote and market your band, and network with people in the business.



As far as learning the drums, you'll do well to take some lessons. Even if you have a natural ability to pick them up on your own, you still need to know some basic things that will keep you from developing bad habits or damaging your hands and wrists. Good luck.
i want to be in a rock band too!! it is my absolute dream and i know im going to make it, because im not going to do anything else with my life, no way. i want to be like my chemical romance, those guys are my idols and they just make my life so much better and i want to make other people feel the way they make me feel, and i just want to sing on stage and change the world!! if you want it as much as i do, your defiantly going to make it, nothings too ambitious if you want it bad enoughIs wanting to be in a rock band an ambitious dream?
sure, its an ambitious dream, but that doesn't mean its a bad one! you should go ahead and try to follow that dream anyway, because what do you have to lose? nothing. just recognition, fun times, And great experiences to gain. just remember that your success won't mean much if You acted fake or took advantage of people/situations to gain it. have fun, be real, and do stuff that you %26amp; others enjoy. who doesn't love a good time? and if the "success" part doesn't exactly work out, you still had a lot of fun trying, right?

Well it would be nice to know your stuff a bit more and be a little more passionate about it than that. I don't hear any real passion about it from what you typed.Is wanting to be in a rock band an ambitious dream?
That's a great dream. Go for it!

But remember that there are a LOT of bands that have talent but aren't all that successful. Just don't be a poser, be true to your fans.
