Do you reckon the band Jesus On Extasy is a pathetic derivative of Marilyn Manson?

they seem to be just a dodgy copy of Marilyn Manson, they don't seem to have anything orriginal going for them. Correct me if i'm wrong?

Well it really depends on what song you're listening to. I listened to 6 of their songs and "Alone" was the only one that even had a hint of similarity to MM. The chorus in "Alone" by JOX sounds similar to the chorus in "Coma White" by MM. Otherwise they're much more electronic than MM. His voice is similar, but I wouldn't say they're a copy based on voice alone.



However, I did noticed that the song Assassinate Me sounds like some of Powerman 5000's stuff.... maybe that's just me though... heh.

I couldn't find them on You Tube or on the internet. I don't know anything about them.



To COMMLOAN . MM is not a rip off of NIN. Trent Reznor influenced them because he worked with them. Their music is nothing like NIN. Look at the subject matter it is totally different.

I don't think they are a Manson derivative. The singer's vioce is very much like Manson's but the subject matter, style and look is nothing like MM. if your a band and you coping someone eles then you don't need to be singing but then you got to think is manson the role model for them and they are just posers.

they couldnt have started out as a tribute band because marilyn isnt old enough or dead. so they proably just copyed his music.
