Why does everyone else dislike my favourite band?

hey my favourite band is the red hot chili peppers, but no one else seems to like them

well i still reckon theyre the best thing that a person could listen to, but other peoples either like crappy pop or heavy metal. who else out there likes the chili peppers??Why does everyone else dislike my favourite band?
actually i dont like them but i know a lot of ppl that like them ppl who like classic rock
I'm literally the ONLY one of my friends to like the RHCP.



Most of my friends are into Hip Hop/Pop.

My best friend is into Hard Rock, Post Grunge, Alt. Metal, etc.

One of my friends like half Hip Hop/Pop, half oldies.

Another likes stuff like AFI and The Offspring.

As far as I know, none of them like the RHCP. The only song that any of them like from them is Snow ((Hey Oh)).Why does everyone else dislike my favourite band?
Yes, they are fading out after their popularity in previous years, but that doesn't mean that no-one else likes them!



It's almost impossible to get a group of friends that all like the same band. There's just too many around these days.



RHCP are, and always have been, one of my favourite bands because of their large collection and diversity, but they should bring out some new stuff again soon.



Don't worry, all my friends like modern pop stuff too, which annoys me, but it just means that there is less competition for gig tickets and merchandise. Glad you're keeping your music taste real.

Well they're not the best thing that a person could listen to, but definitely not one of the worst either. I'm not a fan but I dig a select few of their songs. Never really got into them, but they do write some pretty catchy tunes. And the song Scar Tissue brings back good memories of my childhood.

Worldwide The Chilli's are one of the top bands up their with U2, Rolling Stones, Metallica, They sell millions of albums all though i am not a big fan i do like them and have a few albums, and just about everyone i know likes them to some extent. So you are not alone
I love Red Hot Chili Peppers. Flea is one of the greatest rock bassists of all time and his and John's melodies work together beautifully.
People always disagree on music. It doesn't matter if other people don't like it. Music's personal to everyone anyway I wouldn't worry about it :)

Red Hot Chili Peppers are incredibly popular. They are my favourite band as well and I only know a few people who like them. But I don't know anyone else who knows their old stuff.
Is that because every people have every taste and likes, so just ignore it.
You hang out with the wrong crowd on here. Most of my contacts love RHCP. I didn't like their first couple of albums but they have been kick *** ever since.

Red Hot Chili Peppers is quite a good band, but not among my favourites...
chili peppers are 1 of the best bands ever! Clearly ur friends have no taste. haha

an dnt worry bout it, my mates hate all the bands i listen 2 aswel haha
